Ruby taking it easy

I’m a media star!

Did you see me in the paper this week – Bristol Evening Post on wednesday.  That’s me with Richard my dad and Richard Saunders who is a bigwig at the bank.  Good picture isn’t it?  (We're looking through the CT scanner).  What’s really funny is that my dad had to be in the picture.  He NEVER lets anyone take his picture, but there are times when it’s just too embarrassing to say ‘No’.

Hasn't it been cold this week?  Colder than I can bear, I've hardly stepped out the door without my new coat on – thanks mum!

Talking of mum, I promised her that I would take loads of pics of the hospital and put them on the blog this week because she hasn’t had a chance to see it yet (she works in London at lot), but I just haven’t had time.  Sorry mum.  Next week … maybe when I show my friend Joe Cocker round – he’s coming in for his boosters.  You are still coming aren’t you Joe?

  1. Wow, Ruby - you look like a real cutie - bet your dad is proud of you! And now you're both celebs as well!

The hospital looks fab! Congratulations! Obviously, I need to come over to meet you and get a guided tour!

Don't mind your dad being embarrassed about you wearing your smart coat - he certainly doesn't like to be cold, so why should you be any different? Both of you should be glad you haven't been here the last 3 weeks or so - we've been averaging between -15 and -20 C more or less every day...

Say hi to your mum and dad from me! Keep posting!

  3. Hi Ruby, That's a fab photo of you & your Dad. What a celebrity you are becoming, I like it. Can't wait to get the guided tour of the new building it looks great & my Jackeroo thought it was wonderful when he stayed there for a few days last week. He told me it was a first class hotel. Am loving your new coat too, you look a right little lady in it. See you soon. Love Auntie Teen xxxx
