The christmas tree is up

Me and Joe with the Sarah (she's the cardiac nurse)

The builders finished the new glass entrance porch at the hospital this week, reception looks even bigger and much lighter now.  Best bit though is that the porch fits two Christmas trees, one either side, I wonder if that means double presents ...?

This is Joe, me and Charlie.  Margaret on reception decorated the tree… I love the colours… stylish don’t you think?

My awesome friend Joe was in for his yearly boosters and a play with his friends in the new hospital.   This is us snuggled up on the sofa in the staff room when no one was looking  - sshh.  You can’t see Joe very well, he’s the same colour as the sofa.

Whoops, time to sneak out before they spot us

I’m a media star!

Did you see me in the paper this week – Bristol Evening Post on wednesday.  That’s me with Richard my dad and Richard Saunders who is a bigwig at the bank.  Good picture isn’t it?  (We're looking through the CT scanner).  What’s really funny is that my dad had to be in the picture.  He NEVER lets anyone take his picture, but there are times when it’s just too embarrassing to say ‘No’.

Hasn't it been cold this week?  Colder than I can bear, I've hardly stepped out the door without my new coat on – thanks mum!

Talking of mum, I promised her that I would take loads of pics of the hospital and put them on the blog this week because she hasn’t had a chance to see it yet (she works in London at lot), but I just haven’t had time.  Sorry mum.  Next week … maybe when I show my friend Joe Cocker round – he’s coming in for his boosters.  You are still coming aren’t you Joe?

Bumped into Brandy today having a shower

This my friend Brandy with Liz her owner, a vet nurse at the hospital.  Brandy is really beautiful and loves being groomed and having warm showers.   This is her testing out the shower in the new kennels.
